Affiliate marketing

The process by which an affiliate earns a commission for marketing another person’s or company’s products. When someone makes a purchase through the affiliate’s link, the affiliate earns a percentage of sale. The affiliate can simply search for a product they like, then promote that product and earn a piece of the profit from each sale they make. To make it work, three different parties must take part: seller and product creators, the affiliate or advertiser, and the consumer. The sales are tracked via affiliate links from one website to another. It is a popular tactic to drive sales and generate significant online revenue, which is extremely beneficial to both brands and affiliate marketers.
